✝️ Our Statement of Faith
1. The Scriptures
We believe the Bible — both Old and New Testaments — is the inspired, God-breathed Word of God. It is the final authority for faith and life, inerrant in its original writings.
(Matthew 5:18; John 16:12–13; 2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21)
2. The Person of Jesus Christ
We believe in the full deity and humanity of the Lord Jesus Christ. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, and is co-equal and co-eternal with God the Father and God the Holy Spirit.
(Matthew 1:18–25; Luke 1:26–35; John 1:1–14; Philippians 2:5–11; Colossians 1:15)
3. The Condition of Humanity
We believe all people are born with a fallen nature and are separated from God by sin. Only through faith in Jesus Christ can we be forgiven and restored to fellowship with God.
(Genesis 3:1–13; Romans 3:10, 23; 5:12–21; 1 Corinthians 15:21–22; Revelation 20:12–15)
4. The Work of Christ
We believe Jesus Christ, through His death and resurrection, offered the only acceptable sacrifice for sin. Through the shedding of His blood, He secured our redemption, forgiveness, and eternal life.
(Matthew 28:1–10; Romans 3:21–28; 5:8–11; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; 1 Peter 1:18–20; 1 John 5:10–13)
5. Salvation and Security
We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. All who repent and believe are forgiven, made new, and kept secure in Him forever. It is the privilege of every believer to rejoice in this assurance.
(John 10:27–30; Romans 8:1, 38–39; 2 Corinthians 5:17; 1 John 5:11–13)
6. The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, regenerates those who believe, and baptizes them into the body of Christ. He indwells, seals, and empowers every believer for godly living and service.
(John 16:8–11; Romans 8:9; 1 Corinthians 6:19–20; Ephesians 1:13–14; 5:18; Titus 3:5)
7. The Return of Christ
We believe in the personal, visible, and imminent return of Jesus Christ for His Church, and that He will reign as Lord forever.
(John 14:3; Acts 1:9–11; 1 Corinthians 15:51–57; Philippians 3:20–21; 1 John 3:2)
8. The Grace of God
We believe that salvation and all the blessings of the Christian life come solely by God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Through His atonement, Christ has made provision for all the effects of sin.
(Ephesians 2:8–9; 1 Corinthians 15:57; 2 Corinthians 12:9)
